The Melbourne Monologue Festival is a celebration of the solo performer. It's a chance for actors, comedians, writers, and storytellers to share their work, and a chance for audiences to see a wide range of performances from some of Melbourne's most exciting performers.

The festival is for anyone who wants to perform a monologue. We're looking for a diverse range of performers and performances, and we're open to all genres and styles.

Monologue guidelines:

• Duration: Pieces should run between 45 to 55 minutes. Whether it's a singular captivating monologue or an engaging collection, we're all ears.

• Topic: Artists are encouraged to let their imagination run wild, we value and celebrate their creative freedom.

• Split Bills? We are completely on board with that!

• How much does the registration cost: Zero. Zip. Zilch. Nada. Nothing. We don't charge a registration fee.
