Boundless Plains
Fri 1 to Sat 9 Aug (no Sun) at 7:00pm or 8:30pm

Set against the harsh landscape of outback Australia in 1967, Dahlia unfolds in a once-thriving gold mining town now stripped bare. With its mines exhausted, the town of Dahlia clings to its last breath — but something more powerful is stirring beneath the surface.
When Jasper — a spirited local boy — vanishes without a trace, his absence sends ripples through the fragile community. His closest friend, Anita, is left behind to grapple with strange visions of him: flickering moments that feel less like memory, and more like warnings.
Anita and her husband Roy, a weary miner, are already caught in their own quiet struggle — a marriage weathered by loss, isolation, and unspoken regret. As more townsfolk begin to disappear, whispers spread of a force beneath the land itself — ancient, watchful, and vengeful. Some say the earth is reclaiming what was taken. Others say Dahlia was never meant to last. Caught between loyalty to their home and fear of what lies beneath it, Anita and Roy must face hard choices: about love, survival, and the cost of staying in a place that may no longer want them.
Rooted in folklore and shaped by the harsh realities of life on a dying frontier, Dahlia is a mysterious and unsettling exploration of isolation, belonging, and the ghosts we leave in the ground.
