A bride runs away from her wedding and hitchhikes in a touring van with Latin musicians. As the gang drives into the night, the Bride begins to contemplate the possibilities that exist beyond a conventional life.
Who would have guessed that poetry and Latin music would be the only marriage to survive the night? Exploring the ideas of identity, intergenerational trauma, and relationships, I Don’t Want to Die on a Thursday Night is inspired by spontaneous jam sessions and heartfelt conversations.
