Out of Date is a theatrical celebration featuring a collection of three monologues from three women of Italian, Malaysian, and Sierra Leonean backgrounds.
United by their love for food, each character explores how culinary traditions are a cornerstone of their cultures and a universal bridge between people. Through the art of storytelling, they share tales passed down from grandmothers to mothers to them, intertwining their personal experiences with words of inherited wisdom.
This immersive performance blends heartfelt narratives with the rich, sensory vocabulary of food narratives, offering audiences the diverse yet interconnected tapestries of each woman's lives and traditions.
